The Augustine’s Story: 70 Years in the Making
Augustine’s has always been a constant in Old Forge. Since my parents first opened the doors in 1952, this corner has seen generations of families share a tray of pizza and a story. I stepped into the role of owner in 1986, and while the town has changed around us, the feeling when you walk through our door hasn't.
We know many of you grew up with us as "the club," but as we look toward the future, we’re leaning into what we do best: serving honest, high-quality Italian food. We are moving away from the "bar" atmosphere of the past and embracing our new identity as an Italian Kitchen.
You’ll still find the classics that made us a local legend, like our signature Old Forge pizza perfected over seven decades. But you’ll also find new traditions, like our Jake's Signature Pasta Bakes specials and our "Winesday" pairings. If you look in the dining room , you'll see my father’s portrait from New Year’s Eve 1963—he’s still here, and so are we, ready to welcome you for a casual dinner or a night out with friends.
